Dang, that just ain't right. I do agree that his VHO should have some smoke coming out of it by the time your ride is fixed. It's also never your fault, just an unlucky draw from the family gene pool. My bro has totaled two of my vehicles. I finally sold him one and it has more dings and dents than ever now.
BTW, how has the insurance company been about your mods? Rear end, drop, etc. Are they gonna cover the cost of the actual parts or the OEM stuff? Just curious in case those with lots of great mods like you had have unfortunate episodes too.
