Default Braided Brake Lines

Installed the Russel 3-piece stainless braded lines today and honestly, I'm not very impressed with the results.

Doesn't feel much different to me, oh well.

Also installed the new driveshaft yoke (nickel plated upgrade) and I think the clunk may be gone (?).

Can't tell a difference at all with the lines eh? My only experience with braided brake lines was on a motorcycle, a ZX900, and the difference was VERY noticable. Not sure about the trucks tho, although I know mine could use some help especially when the 20's are on. Good news on the yoke tho!

I have the russle lines all the way around on my truck, 2 fronts, 2 backs and the one going from the frame to the rear axel. My pedal firmed up alot, def a noticible difference.

I have drum rears so the only change was to the front with a 3-pc kit. Maybe there was still some air in the line?

It sounds possible. I would think just from what I have heard that you would feel some difference. I also bought a motive products power bleed system because I wanted to be able to flush my system out real good and I figure that doing a pressurized flush would be a lot easier than the old push the pedal method.

IMOP the pedal in the trucks with rear drum brakes always feel better than the 4 wheel disk trucks anyway. I would like to put a Bear rear disk brake convertion kit on my truck but I am afraid to lose the great pedal it has. Everyone that drives my truck tells me how good the brakes are and their completely stock right now. They just all have 4 wheel disk.
