Default anyone around Louisiana? how about ThunderRacing?

I called Futral Motorsports which is about 15 miles east of Baton Rouge, and Earl there helped me a great deal with my questions. If you saw my post about headwork, that is what I was asking about. While I talked to Earl at Futral, I would say a few things and he would like kind of take over and explain it to me. Anyway to make a long story short, he guided me in the right direction with a lot of patience for my ignorance about that matter. I was very impressed.

I then wanted to give ThunderRacing a call and ask them the same thing, and the guy that I talked to just sat there and let me talk. I sounded like an idiot because I was telling him what I was thinking of getting, and he was just saying "uh huh, uh huh"!!! There was not ONE time that he took it upon himself to help me. I just hung up on him in disgust.

I have already bought a ASP pulley from ThunderRacing and they kind of acted like the had "THE DON'T WANT" that time too. But I blew it off and still bought it.

My question is what do you all think about ThunderRacing and Futral Motorsports. Is it just that gut and TR or do they really hate their job that much to say f*ck the customer service. If you read my post on headwork you would have seen that I am willing to spend up to $15,000 on my motor. I told them that and they still didn't change their tune. So did I talk to the wrong person or something?? I don't know his name. Are they REALLY GREAT and I just got unlucky? I really liked Earl at FM.If you are from around here or surrounding states that deals with ThunderRacing or Futral Motorsports please give me your input.

If you called FMS the only one you talked to was Allan for tech. information, you might have just heard his name wrong.I've known Allan for about 10 years now and I can assure you he knows what it takes to make whatever you want fly.BEEN THERE SEEN THAT!I have never saw a customer leave unhappy with what they wanted accomplished with there vehicle. As far as TR goes its not the first time I have heard that.

Well I have bought a few things from Thunder racing and they were a great help. I called about a cam and picked them apart. They told me what they had done in the past with trucks and the results they had gotten. Until they do me wrong I will have nothing but praise for them. Infact they have always worked for my business in the means of beating everyone elses prices. I bought my jets, window switch, and my cam is from those guys. I will continue to use them due to the great service they have given. I guess it is like every shop around, different people have different experiences

I agree with you Marc. They probably think we are wasting their time asking these ignorant questions but they don't realize that that is the most important part of the sale. They don't realize that it is us that are going to spend money with them in the future if they help us like a professional not like a freakin' clerk at Wal-Mart or something!!

By the way, I have NO idea why I said Earl! Brain fart I guess. I did talk to Allen.

this is exactly why i now order out of the jeg's catalog i can't even get decent service where i've already put down 5000 bucks for parts out at rtb they gave me the run around for 2 month i finally ran out of patience and basically told the guy i dealt with exactly how i felt and his mom who owns the shop but now i just order my parts so i dont have to deal with this anymore the thought still **** me off
and the shop that dicked around with my mom is going to get it cuz she is sick as hell and has been since i was a little kid you dont f*ck with my mom i'm a momma's boy and proud to admit it

mom

RED2K,TR has a good SALES dept. can't take anything away from them there, but there is a difference between talking the talk and walking the walk.
