Well the newest snafu with the truck. I will be driving along with the AC going. Then all of the sudden it goes to heat. Now if i pull over and turn off the truck it work fine. Then later on it will go hot. Turn off the truck and it is fine.

I have the same problem with my truck, it happens at random times or if I hit a set of railroad tracks too fast. but just happens on the driver side. Kill the truck and start it again and its fine.

Same exact way on my. Was told it was one of the actuators doors by dealer.

Mode actuator. Take battery cables off for a few minutes. Crank the truck and don't touch the AC controls for at least 40 seconds. That's the relearn procedure if you don't have a Tech 2. I don't think the actuator is that bad to change. Do the same relearn process when learning the new actuator.
Hope this helps.

It's the blend door mine went out and finally stuck on ac instead of heat for a change I changed it right before deer season last year when I needed heat. if your truck has dual climate control and it's the drivers side that keeps blowing hot it's the motor under the black cover in the middle under the dash that sits kind of on the trans tunnel easy fix takes about 20 minutes tops to change out hopefully that's it some of the others are a pain to get to
