Default 78mm TB to NNBS/TBSS intake adapter...

Well decided to post up a little info for the guy who have the NBS trucks and want to go with a NNBS intake but don't have the extra cash for the X-Link or for a NNBS 4 bolt TB. There is a cheap alternative tho won't give you the same gains but for the mean time will work great. I recently bought a FAST adapter plate ($50 and made for the FAST 102 LSX RT) to see if it will work on my old NNBS intake. Reason for this is because my little bro has a 02 silvy and wanted it but didnt have any extra cash for a new 90mm tb. Well it fits and works great and thought I would post pics and just let you guys know. Idk if doing this intake swap and not going with the bigger tb will gain you any hp but at least you can get the intake or any other 90mm+ installed and just get the tb later. Again this might be useless info but just thought I would share.

searched and no real after install reviews. Does this defeat the purpose of the intake swap?

I ran the plate on mine for a few weeks, it made the idle pretty choppy like the engine was cammed. There was an improvement according to the seat o the pants dyno.
