4L60E Controller
Hey I got a question. I have purchased a 03 Escalade with the Radix blower. Inside I have controller that I have no clue what it's for.
Pressure Riser
Adjustable 4L60E model
settings:
- Off
- Standard Boost
- Heavy Duty
- Performance Only (Not for extended use)
I would say it's for the tranny. But not 100% sure. I just got into the truck/SUV performance. What setting would I keep it on? All help would be helpful. Thanks

It's an aftermarket line pressure controller. B&M and Jet both make those. All they do is increase line pressure to firm up the shifts.
I do not recommend using that to increase shift firmness. The 4L60/65/70-E will suffer thrust bearing failure if run for extended durations of high line pressure.

my escalade came with it when i bought it used. So should I keep it on the Off position or the standard boost. Or should I just try to take it out?
