4L60E Controller
#1
Hey I got a question. I have purchased a 03 Escalade with the Radix blower. Inside I have controller that I have no clue what it's for.
Pressure Riser
Adjustable 4L60E model
settings:
- Off
- Standard Boost
- Heavy Duty
- Performance Only (Not for extended use)
I would say it's for the tranny. But not 100% sure. I just got into the truck/SUV performance. What setting would I keep it on? All help would be helpful. Thanks

It's an aftermarket line pressure controller. B&M and Jet both make those. All they do is increase line pressure to firm up the shifts.
I do not recommend using that to increase shift firmness. The 4L60/65/70-E will suffer thrust bearing failure if run for extended durations of high line pressure.

That's up to you really. With the supercharger on there, using that pressure booster on anything higher than "standard" will too much stress on the hard parts. Either keep it shut off, standard, or remove, in my opinion.
