Might be getting a 05 GTO...: )
Ive had my eye on the GTO's seen they came out. I found a fairly good deal on a 05 Red, red/black interior, M6 and the very important 6.0 400Hp... 
The mileage is 14K so thats not to bad and its in good shape. The asking price is $24,500. Should I get it 
Does that sound like a good price?

Nice! I've wanted one since they came out. Not sure on pricing though, I was thinking that low 20's would be about right, but I haven't done any research on them to find out for sure.

Now that I see carpeting is one of the "features" I say go for it! 
Buddy of mine has the same exact car / color. I like it a lot, so does he. Not as fast in the 1/4 as I thought and they have TERRIBLE wheel hop off the line and a weak rear end (have seen more than 1 limp home) but I truly like the car and everyone that gets in the driver seat doesnt seem to want to get out of it after either short or long jaunts - myself included.
For a GM car what surprised me most was how tight (not as in "cool") the interior is built. No rattles anywhere, well done, quiet. just an all around well done car except for that wheel hop and weak rear end issue.
If I wasnt buried in vehicles already and needing to get my 70SS completed I would have on in the driveway.

you talked me into it. I checked on the insurance and its $125 a month and Im only 20 and had 2 speeding tickets. I thought that was a pretty good deal concidering AIG qouted me $525 a month...
