Default 408 Engines

Hey, i am looking to put a 408 in my truck. I have a 99 silverado with the 5.3L now. I already have ordered the turbo system from sts last week. I have been unable to find a store/someone that could build me a 408 that could handle some boost. I tried going to latemodelengine.com but the website is down or something. If anyone could refer me to someone it would be great. Thanks in advance.

I believe that SDPC will build you a long block.

What turbo did you order from sts? They have a dyno sheet of a 408 with a pt-88 making 900lbs of torque!

I dont think the base kit with the t-60 turbo is going to be enough to run a 408. The 6.0's use a gt67. You many want to upgrade to atleast a 72!
