My club held our first GM vs Ford shootout today. It was a success despite the limtd # of people showing. We easlily had 50+ LS1 cars/truck show up but only about 6-7 Mustangs
In our truck class there were 2 black SS Silverados. One sported a 150HP wetkit and typical bolt-ons. He has run a best of 12.5@108mph. The other one sported a Radix with a 75hp shot. Not sure of his other mods but he also ran a 12.54@108mph today. Very clean trucks and cool how much potential these things have considering they are very heavy and both guys ran HEAVY stock and 22" Chrome wheels durring those runs

I guess i got to the track alittle late. It would have been fun beating on some fords in the shootout. I did run at night for the grudge races an ran 12.30@108 1.689 60ft. I know there is alot more in the truck, i didnt put my bottle heater in so the pressure was only at 700psi and would drop at the topend of the track. I also got a change to weigh this pig and it came in at 5200lbs and 5450lbs with me in it.

Damn you Paul!!! You should have been there earlier you punk! LOL
There were 3 fast fords there but only 2 of em got to run. One ran 10s the other went 11.90. The 9sec one never got his car started which sucked cuz they guy is really cool and worked his tail off to make it out.

Cool, thx for the update. I didn't get to see their last few runs as I was busy with organizing stuff but they looked so cool flying down the track side by side.
I could have swore Craig, the guy who installed the nitrous for him, said it was a 75shot. Ohh well.
*edit* on second thought, it looks like you got one of their times right. The 12.3@109 was from some guy on the east coast. :p What did Vettekiller run?

I don't even like him, I just bring him for backup in case I get into a fight. That bald head and goatee thing scares people.
