My brother just got a 05 Titan King Cab and has been talking a lil smack about my 05 Silverado Crew Cab. Yesterday at lunch we were leaving a restaurant and caught a Red Light. He looks over at me and motions that he wants to race. The light turns green and I instantly put about 3/4 of a car length on him and it stays this way until about 70mph when we had to brake for traffic. I think he was a little shocked that I was out in front until 70mph and he couldn't pull on me. Both of our trucks have less than 1000 miles. He has no mods done to the Titan and I have just a 3 inch AeroChamber on my Silverado. His truck did spin a good bit and mine didn't so I'm thinking this is what helped me to jump out in front.

Good kill. What gears does the CC have? Heard some come out with 3.23s so if you got these plus that better flowing exhaust... they probably helped you on the highend so that titan couldn't touch you. Good work!

 

good kill!!! finally we have someone to tell us a race about a stock silverado and a stock titan... give him a few more races to see if the results are the same....
