when I see what people have I will determine my max amount at that point. I can tell you the last one I bought was 400.00 for a 30K 5.3L and it had all the sensors with it. I won't be willing to go much more if any because they just don't bring that type of money. Now if we were discussing a LQ9 it would be a different story.

I need it for my father in law. He has been very very sick and I'm trying to help finish his dream project with limited funds. Ideally he wanted a LQ9, but with everything else that has to be done I don't see it in the cards. I could swing it, but I'm dumping a good amount of cash into my home now. I don't see me splurging like I used to do on toys.

It also needs to be a virgin no mods or previous mods. I don't need something someone has had their hands in.

If you get a good deal on a shortblock I have some clean 5.3 heads with springs, rockers, stands, and MLS gaskets I will let go for $120 shipped.

Thanks, but I want something that I can verify the history. I have been screwed once before from a salvage yard and I'm not going that route again. I have multiple sources to buy blocks and what not from, but I don't have the energy or time to dick with building it.

that doesnt tell me who actually cast them. I need to know that. There should be a symbol on the top of the head that will tell me who made them. Like Castech uses a symbol that looks like a battery.

EX.
