Wtb cheap stock radiator

Well i am going to have a radiator built but they want my old one to use a a reference. I have a 2002 chevy silverado 1500, i know people are using ls radiators and such but i really dont want to spend the money on one to find out that i need a bigger radiator blah blah blah.... The problem is that i do not have the old radiator out and i am still using my truck as my dd right now. I want to pick one up local here in southern california! I just really need it for a reference so if it doesnt work great i dont care or if the coils are trashed even better. i have been calling the junk yards but they want 100$ regardless of the condition! I am in costa mesa if you know of someone who has one close by ill come pick it up i really dont want to spend more than 25$ on a used broken down radiator to just use as a reference. thanks guys

All they need are measurements for a stock 28" radiator, correct? If so, I have one sitting in my garage I can do reference pics and measurements and send the info to ya.

Why do you think you will need a bigger radiator?

i just spend a grand! fixing my tranny this week, they said that the tranny cooler isnt getting enough air to it (40k cooler right behind the inlets of the front bumper) they said the tranny fluid smelled it kept slipping in and out of gears. it was a major fukn headache for me because i work my *** off 6 days a week and this is my daily driver. I figure since flows into and out of the stock radiator maybe my engine is pumping out way too much heat with the mp112. I really dont want any more headaches right now with all the other bull **** i am dealing with and i dont have the time to go through it to eliminate what might be wrong. I know i should other wise i probably wont fix my probem but i figure i should start with a new radiator. I burped the radiator system and got no where with it, then thought it was the water pump but my pops said you would hear it if it went out, then i thought it was a thermostat but if that went out i think the engine temp would be well over 210+. i know some people are putting the new 05 radiators into it for about 300$ i figure spend the money and get a really nice setup. yeah i know that this might be confusing most of you but i really dont have that much time on my hands and for the love of *** i can not find a decent mechanic who will be straight up with me. i fixed my fuel system it was simpe the inline fuel filter was leaking i was missing the rubber fuel inline o-ring! it still has a rough start but i will take it to a new dyno shop to see if they can work that out. sorry its soo long i am at work as we speak. i will try to post some more info. thanks guys

Yeah, your mechanics are kinda shady. Don't waste $100's on a custom radiator when you can get a 2005+ 34" one for under $150. You will also need the larger fan shroud or 2005 fans.
Put a 190 Tstat or do the BB mod.
I have the MP112, 34", 05 fans, and BB mod; I have no problems with cooling.
I have 200k miles on my 4L60E transmission with no rebuilds.
