Anybody interested in this intake I shaved? Get rid of the ugly engine cover. Bare $150 obo I switched to a L76 intake

That makes the truck intake look decent. How did you get the plastic so smooth?

 

if i had to bet a dremel(sp?) and some fine grit sand paper

 

i always wanted to try that..looks great

 

And alot of patience with about 20 hours to kill.

It took a lot of time. Some dremel work mostly a sander and a carbide burr. Once everything was cut off I had it filled and primed then painted. The paint has been on there 6 months and so no sign of coming off.

 

Now I have to do this to mine. Thanks for making me waste more time on my truck. LOL
