i bought a pair of hoosier dirt track tires the same size last week, they were WAY too small for my truck. no matter how i launched they went up in smoke and were worse than my 20s off the line but after they stopped spinning and hooked they felt good

"hoosier dirt track tires" theres your problem....26" drag slicks are a ton different and will hook like glue!

I agree that a 26 is too small for a truck, 28's are more practical for a truck

the wheels are 6.5" wide I believe.

I ran 26" MTs... size depends on gearing... its a cheap way to get yourself a lower ratio. I ran them with 3.73s which equated to about 4.30s. If you are in the 3.23-3.42 range these would be perfect for you
