Set of professionaly smoked Silverado tail lights. Done right by a body shop. No vht nightshade garbage here. Direct fit for 03-06 Silverado but will fit 99-02 Silverado with some mods to the harness and can also be made to fit 99-06 Sierras. They were done by Cougar Autobody last fall so they are in excellent shape. They are dark but light still comes through them perfectly. The third brake light is still on my truck but I'll be picking up a stocker sometime this week and they'll be ready to go. Asking $200 for the set of lights and third brake light.

looks nice. How are they smoked? Spraying the inside of the lens? Tint? I might have to take them off your hands. Also, why are you selling them?

 

They were smoked at a local body shop with a paint/clear mix sprayed on the outside of the lens.

I am selling them because I recently got pulled over for tint and smoked lights. So I put the stockers back in and peeled my tint off. I've had smoked lights before with no problems but since i lowered my truck and put 22s on it's been getting a lot more attention from the 5-0. The law here is that they have to be seen from 150 meters away and I'm sure they would pass but theres no use in me arguing with the cops.

I had a set that had a scratch on one of the lights so i got this set smoked and sold the old set. I never had a problem with the old set of lights for over a year and they were the same darkness. Now the cops are bustin my *****

I have a few people interested in just the third brake light so if anyone wants to buy just the lights i will let you know.

Yeah that's what I was afraid of, the cops being douches about them being too dark. They look clean as hell on the truck though. If I wasn't running around with illegal tint already I'd buy them in a heartbeat. I'm going to check what the law is around here, maybe I'll just buy them after all lol.

I've driven in front of cops all the time and none have ever pulled me over. This one is from my area tho so he sees my truck quite often and he was nice enough not to give me a ticket. Just told me to lose the tint and lights and gave me 7 days to do it. Now that I think back I should've just taken the ticket and he would've stopped bothering me
