yeah thats what i said....the guys at the dealer couldnt get it to relearn.. i dont know why maybe it wont work on my truck....the nav unit is good. im preatty sure some dealer that knows more about this can get it to work. i talked to the tech guy he says that the nav doesnt need an antenna . that they have done a couple of swaps.. but he just doesnt understand why my truck kicks out the relearn part. everything works fine im not trying to ripp no one off here i know for a fact that it works. but the guys in the dealers i went dont want to work hard, they want it the easy way, asking me where it came from what year model vin, and all this crap !!

Just FYI:
1. Yes you will need the antenna
2. You will have a very low sound volume unless your truck has BOSE
3. You will need an additional connector to run vehicle speed in order for thenav to function correctly.

I put these in all day long at the dealer

you need none of those parts to physically unlock it. Who knows it is quite possible there is a defect in the unit. I install them at the dealer and have not had problems yet. I do know if you do not have the bose speaker system, you will have to wire all your stock speakers to an external amp in order to have sound. Also you will need the nav disc in order for the nav to work. If you need any more info i guess just PM me, no need to ***** your thread up
