Default 6L80e and Transfer Case - Houston TX

I purchased a 6L80E and transfer case a while back to use as a core, or spare stock unit, for a rebuild and never used it. I would like to get rid of it to clear up some space.

Trans and case is from a 2008 AWD Sierra Denali. I do not know the mileage as this originally came from a salvage yard, however it looks to be in good condition from just an external visual inspection.

Looking to get $1,000 OBO for the trans/case combo.

******EDIT: Still for sale and now listed at $750 FOB from a car shop in West Houston, TX (as is where is)******

Can you use an all wheel drive transfer case for a 4x4 and not have to make any mods to the transfer case?

I really have no idea on that and would have to leave it to others to check into, however, I do believe the cases are different though between the 4x4 and AWD so it would more than likely NOT be a direct swap.

Still for sale? Is this a 2WD transmission with a transfercase on the side for rebuild?

Best regards,
Morten

Sorry guys, I haven't been on the forum much lately due to work. I do still have this transmission and it is sitting in my friends shop and needs to get sold and out of his way as I don't want it sitting in my garage at home.

New lower price is $750.00 for anyone who comes and picks it up in Houston. A pickup of the trans can be arranged for any weekday from the shop on the West side of Houston or I can consider shipping at an additional cost anytime after November 6th when I have time to handle the extra work of shipping.

I do not know if the trans is identical to a 2wd if the transfer case is removed but it is possible. I'd discuss with your local drive train shop and see what they have to say but in all honesty I would think it should be similar I just don't know enough to confirm.
