Now that is an EXCELLENT post.
I sure like the looks of that Denali front end.

If I find anything else, I'll let you know. I think the whole conversion will run ~$1,000 just for the parts.

Mike, I have a 2001 Tahoe 5.3. So far I have put on a Flowmaster 70 series and Fipk. I am real happy with both! This is my second FIPK, I had one on a Jeep Grand Cherokee. This might be a start for him. Check out my pics at :

My only mod so far was to have Doug Ripped Motor Sports re-program my computer. Trans shifts stronger in tow/haul mode. Much better acceleration, mileage ect... See my other post on 5.3 dyno. 500 bucks and 20+ rwhp from low to high rpm is pretty damn good.

My Yukon is now faster than my buddies 6.0 PU...

Well I ended up getting him the Vortech Cat-back system for Christmas. Its a 3" stainless steel system that exits out the back with 2 single 3 1/2" tips. Looks great, sounds great and runs awesome! The K&N FIPK is next. His birthday is next week and we'll be picking that up! I'm having as much fun modding his truck as I am modding my Camaro!

Thanks for all the advice guys!
