man, you guys sure do have some bugs up your asses. Someone ventures out of the ordinary and gets **** for it? grow up guys. We all know that Y2K likes experimenting with things, so if he wants to buy it and try it out, great! Maybe the pro-cold will turn up to be better or worse. No matter the circumstance, just because he doesnt have a UPD or K&N or Volant, doesnt mean anything.
This site is supposed to be a "tech" site, so lets keep it like that. Kudos to Y2K for venturing out of the norm to try something different.

yea, i also thought that.

tuck2, try some different strategies to act like a regular consumer.

you sure as hell get very defensive when people question the procold system. very suspicious, good thing I got a UPD instead.

nice try though.

Regarding whether this mod or that will or will not make a difference in the 1/4, its not each individual mod thats necessarily important, but their cumulative effect. I know a wiley old racer/builder who used to cut all the ends of bolts that stuck through nuts off. People said he was absolutely crazy, maybe he was, he went so far as to save all that scrap in coffee cans actually, funny thing though, he'd never let anyone actually pick up those cans to see just how heavy they really were...

I haven't been around for a while, but Tuck2 is right about his tech info on the mufflers. Where the flaw is, is on the better hp numbers. At tip-in, the air is availiable. Once aire is moving through the system, its all about how smooth the volume of air moves from is source. At that point, the mufflers can create the turbulance if the are nott designed right.

Y2K, you are the king of intake and muffler experimentation. Keep it up!. Looks like a nice product.

That's like I once read some where... "Don't look for one place to loose 100#, look for 1,600 places to lose one ounce."
