Interesting...lets see some dyno numbers and i wonder if that would work with the UPD tube...???

nah, tx_silv, remember the smoother tubes are useless if you're going for performance. the tubes with tons of intersections, bends, and impedances are better.

Slowverado, the only thing that makes me question yuor logic is this: if a company could add something to their product that would either make them be able to sell it for more, or have more value for the price they were selling it at, why wouldn't they do it?

i would too....i would have to see some hard core facts too. low2000, look at it this way.

if a tube with obstructions in it makes more power than a smooth one, why do vettes and fbodies have smooth intrances with no baffles in the tube or anything? why did older model cars come with smooth tubes (back when people didn't care about intake sounds) i mean come on, name me one HIGH PERFORMANCE vehicle that has big ole baffles in the intake setup.
