Default X-Pipe?

Why do some of you run an X-Pipe?
What are the benefits?

It just seemed to me like it would cause more turbulance & restrict flow more. I also her someones and it sounded different.

Actually the x-pipe equalizes pressure on both sides of the exhaust unlike the factory y-pipe.

I had a true dual on my 01 with an H pipe and I still lost some low end torque. You are better off with a X pipe.

I've got one & love it! I could feel a nice SOTP difference in my low-end and mid-range torque.

i went from true duals on factory manifolds with just the y cut out with straight pipes, no X or H and it ran ok...then i went to longtubes with full mandral bent pipe and a dr. gas X pipe and it is awesome. insane gains over the setup i had before that.
