Default x-pipe performance specs

I am about to take off my gibson shorties and install some Arizona speed and marine long tubes. I wanted to know if it is a good idea to remove my cats. The other thing I was wondering about is and X-Pipe do they really work how much performance does and X-Pipe give?

Thanks

hell yeah on our 8.1 we did headers and roller rockers with cats still on it and some magno flow mufflers and didnt pick anything up on the dyno but when we put an X pipe and got rid of the cats we picked up about 35hp on motor
