After talking to all of you, i relized i was at a disadvantage, i know why, and trust me, im going back for more! i Have faith in the truck, i lost sleep that night because he pulled me, but his truck is more power and tq, but not much, and his tq comes in much higher then mine, so i should be able to bull him. i think the biggest thing was he was 1-2 inches higher then me, so im redy for next time!!
dont want to pull him with a d-max, i want to do it with My truck. he got me, i need payback. lol
his truck has 3.90's front and rear.
this weekend im going to get ready, and add my weight and tire press ect ect. and im going to weight till he says somthing, and im going to call him out right then!!

 

Yeah, I think traction and gearing won out. Did you change out your gears with the bigger tires or still running the stock stuff? The 3.92 gears in the Dodge make a huge difference with those 20's.

my truck is stock 4:11's or 4:10's, what ever stock tow package is, i forget, i just know 4 somthing. hehe. but my tires are bigger over all, taller, and wider. only thing, his are street tire so they are softer

not for nothin' but if you have to do all those tricks and cheats to beat the "stock" Dodge are you really proving anything? Your chevy is not superior just because you like chevys..

 

never said it was. and im also not cheating, if he has a 4 wheeler in the bed, i will add the same weight, i also know the hight of the hitch matters, so i will fix that, and i know that my tires need a tad less air pressure. i talked to the kid last night, he said he dropped his tires to 25psi right befor he got there, and he said he did a nasty heater right befor he got there, he knows i'll pull him, he said next time hes pretty sure he will loose.
