I think everyone hit it on the head good. First you jumped in the throttle spinning the tires. Plus hes got 20 inch tires that are decently wide giving him good plantation for traction. And I totally agree with 8100, if his hitch is higher it will pull your rear upwards giving you less traction. Plus he had more weight in his bed.

You guys are giving me a vote of confidence!!
my plan is this, drop my torsion bars about 3", take my tire press from 50- 30, throw 300 pounds of sand over my axle, (try to throw a 50 lb bag of sand under the hood for the front tires, little cheeting! hehe), and hook up with a tape mesure! even on flat ground. hell i might even throw som tration compound on the tires right befor i get there!!!
you guys think with the above and a fast roll on the gas in 4 low will work?
i cant loose again!!! also, i was thinking a quick hp or so i should pull my t-body, PP it and then do the coolant by pass! Also will an ls1 t-stat fit on my truck? i have a 160 stat off My Z from when i put the electric pump on. (honastly, ive never even looked to see if they are the same)

Noyzee next time you go to pull a Dodge call me up and I will bring the Duramax down to show that little Dodge whats up. Or I will pull him with the 4.8 next year.

I'd say make sure you got the same weight in back. Because with him trying to even out the weight issue with the quad hes getting the option of putting that 400lbs where you need it, whereas you have it distributed thoughout the whole length of the truck
