Not to cut-off GMC SKI's line, but maybe one of the administrators can contact Lingenfelter and see if they would be interested in selling their twin-turbo set-up as a tuner kit. I doubt they would, and even if they did, it would probably be $$$$, but they do have a kit they install w/ motor and tranny upgrades for mucho bucks. I think they only install on AWD models only.

A twin-turbo kit is out there, but it needs to be reasonably priced. I'm not saying cheap, but reasonable.

Islandtahoe The issue remains here that there is quite the list of parts that goes into a twin kit
Parts alone are a small fortune
I don't wanna comit to try to sell these untill i build the hot parts first
Just wanna make sure it fits before i get too far ahead of myself
This isn't going to be a radix type of kit
There most likely will be some relocating the battery and the water tank may have too move not a big deal
We'll see how things go when i start digging into things this coming week
I anticpate the twins will make over 100rwhp more over my Cm kit on the same if not lesser boost

We all complain about maxing out the MAF sensors. If someone where to build a device that allows airflow from two MAF sensors to feed one input to the computer it would open up some serious possibilities for streetable twin turbos. I envision this device being capable of averaging the two MAFs so the computer actually sees half the air flow. This way the frequency would stay within the rage of what the factory computer can read. It might even be possible to double the injector size and not have to tune it at all.

So who's going to step up and build a "MAF averager"?
assuming things, twin turbos with say "equal" length tubing and same boost levels will flow the same amount of air from one side to the other, so why use 2 maf's, just put on on one side and recal it in the computer.

Anyone have picts of there custom single or twin setups, would love to take a look at them since I'm throwin around the idea of buildin one.

I am definitely interested in this kit. Big turbo power without the massive lag...

When do you think it might be available? Any estimates on pricing yet?

personally i wouldn't go with a twin kit. you'd pretty much limit the use of the truck. the underhood heat would make it's ability to tow pretty much non existant. running twins would take up a ton of room making working on the truck a bitch. the underhood heat would also cause problems more than likely in heavy traffic in the summer as well as top speed runs. you'd have one really quick truck with very limited uses.

you would think though with the turbo's having to work less they would create the same amount of heat at low boost. and have the same power as one with the higher boost level as long as you get the maps right and let them work in there most efficient range then they would heat less and make more power. i would like to have twin t3/t04r turbo's under my hood but the money isn't there yet.
