As GMC SKI already posted back. If you check Banks' website you'll see it's for small block motors. I looked into this when I saw it on Horsepower TV the first time.

Better yet get him to register here so we can pic his brain first hand. And did I mention get pics.

He did it himself, he is a welder/fabricator by trade, and is very picky, so the quality of the kit is good, it requires no exhaust fabrication, and like i said, the return lines go into the valve covers, which makes for a leak free oil setup. I'll have to get the details on the turbos, but they are water and oil cooled, and the trucks has awesome pickup. I haven't yet gotten a ride, but heard it pulls like crazy.

I'll do my best to get pics from him ASAP, he works like mad, he has his own business, and just moved locations, so i haven't stopped by the new shop yet.

I believe the Banks kit is for a traditional smallblock and not a LS1.The Banks kit is super nice, but is of little use to a NBS truck unless you are planning an engine swap.I say goooo furrr it Ski.

If you look up about 2 posts, you'll see it was already posted that it's meant for a small block.

There needs to be something to make it possible to run two MAFs instead of the conventional method where a single sensor meters air after the two ducts have merged.

We all complain about maxing out the MAF sensors. If someone where to build a device that allows airflow from two MAF sensors to feed one input to the computer it would open up some serious possibilities for streetable twin turbos. I envision this device being capable of averaging the two MAFs so the computer actually sees half the air flow. This way the frequency would stay within the rage of what the factory computer can read. It might even be possible to double the injector size and not have to tune it at all.

So who's going to step up and build a "MAF averager"?

James - They're might be one sooner or later.

BTW, any load related table will have to be modified. A vacuum modulated transmission would make tuning MUCH easier with an averager.

Harlan designed and used one on his twin turbo hawk. Seeing as how he works for GM now, maybe he can build the averagers in house
