Default Will 2007 long tubes fit a 2006 truck?

I am looking at a set of long tube kooks headers on cl and I am trying to figure out if the will fit my truck. I have a 2006 Silverado 1500 ext 4x4 with a 5.3L. the headers are long tube kooks with the catted y pipe. Does any one know for sure if these will or will not fit? I do not know what was changed head wise or frame wise between the 2 trucks but from kooks picture on their website they look very similar to the factory setup as far as cat locations etc.

Yea, that was going to be the next question was if anyone had tried to run kooks on a 4x4 and if there were any issues.

unless the headers are for a 2wd truck they should fit.

That is part of the problem is that kooks doesn't specify if their headers are 4x4 or 2wd

It depends on when these headers where the purchased. If they are two years or newer the headers will work, however the Y-pipe will not. You need the Kooks part #67-54-CC3 for your 2006 5.3L. 2XD or 4 WD does not matter the headers fit both.
