LOL...I used to have a fat bank account when I joined this site...now I live paycheck to paycheck and have a LQ9 that I can't afford to finish (also have an 8 week old baby who's stroller needs some billet wheels )

But I hear ya man...hang out here long enough and you'll find yourself broke and spending all your spare time busting your knuckles under your truck...not that there's anything wrong with that

Dan didn't have the current funds to jump on this one so he called me and I got it from a guy that works at Cimarron Electric. It wasn't too bad at all. I think I'm going to keep the cam around a TR224 or something around there so I'll pry just stick to the truck intake. I still need to get a 4L80E by the middle of December so I can do this swap over my break.

Not necessarily trying to beat you but still trying to keep it close to the fastest truck in the county! Haha...

What is the deal on your transmission?

I really don't want to sacrifice any driveability or reliabililty that comes with a much larger cam...I thought about maybe getting something in the 230 duration range since that should still be pretty streetable. I don't really want to go with a LS6 intake because I don't necessarily want to spend anymore money than I have to on this whole swap while still landing somewhere in the mid-high 12's in the 1320...
