Ya know, I think I am making this harder than needs be. I just was unsure if wiring both POS and both NEG was okay...now it seems that is okay.

I thought it might be ... I have a server down, and have not gotten around to fixing it yet.
In a crude way, here's what ya do. Put a wire on each fan, pos and neg. Take both N's and twist them together. Plug that into the neg on the VSC, do the same for the pos wires.
