Default get the pulleys

hey man, don't listen to anyone telling you not to get them. Ive used them before and have seen dyno results from them. underdrive pulleys do relieve stress on your accessories and the do produce power. They also produce more
power in conjunction with other parts. So dont let anyone tell you otherwise.

ok, I put the sdpc setup for $209 on my truck, and noticed a seat of the pants diff, and I dropped a 10th in the 1/8th, with no other mods. also went from a 1.9 60ft, to 1.8 60ft. its a really nice pulley, and is the same as the slp pulley. I do not like the way you have to pull it off thou. 3 bolt instead of 3 arm. they work well with cam's, but you may or may not need an overdrive alt pulley. my truck has a 145 amp alt on it and its fine. a bud of mine has the low amp alt and needed a overdrive alt pulley. so forget what these other people say, and just read up on the people who have used one. for 200 buck you can't beat it. takes 15 min to install too.

I went with a powerbond UD crank pulley and a generic overdrive alt pulley. I like the mod and since I needed a crank pulley for my new motor anyway, it was a no brainr'. Keep an eye out for false KR as sometimes thay can trigger it I have heard.

The pulley kit with belts, alt. pulley and bolt is $239.00 shipped in the lower 48. If you do not need the alt. pulley the kit is $219.00 shipped.

I'm starting to like the looks of the Powerbond kit...I wonder what belt would work for me since I swapped in a 145amp alternator, and I believe that it is slightly taller than the factory 105amp. Probably get away with the one in the kit if the tensioner has enough adjustment to it...
