Who Has the Best Deal On Underdrive Pulleys?
#11
UD pulleys do add HP and honestly if you're looking for that last 10th without going inside the motor they're worth it. How many people would tell you not to get CAI? They're good for about the same power as a pulley. 7-10hp at the wheels is nothing to scoff at and if you're worried about not making enough juice get the kit with both the UD and OD pulley.
If I ever do underdrive pullies it will be my last mod when I've run out of other things to do.

The HP will go up at the wheels AND at the crank since the engine is turning more efficiently. Your thinking would mean no bolt ons give HP just free up what's already there...So does a cam give you some HP or is it just freeing up what was already there? All it's doing is giving the motor more flow right?

See, I think intake and exahust do add HP. Because once you change from stock (tuning withstanding), you're adding HP from what the manufacter set it at, if that makes sense... lol
I have some ASP pullies (UDP/ODP). I'm going to have them isntalled this week, but I won't be able to do before and after because of the gear swap too.
I think if they 'buy me' a tenth, or two, it's probably worth it. No different than buying an instake, or exhaust... about the same result performance-wise, IMO.
