I went with the slp pulley from speedinc. 180bux. free shipping and by moving to AZ from chicago I saved myself a 10% sales tax.

Just curious... everyone always gets flamed for ud pullies.... what made you make up your mind? I have been wanting a set myself but couldn't justify 200 bucks for a pully? I would like a set too, did you ride in a truck with them or just know that is what you want to do?

UD pulleys do add HP and honestly if you're looking for that last 10th without going inside the motor they're worth it. How many people would tell you not to get CAI? They're good for about the same power as a pulley. 7-10hp at the wheels is nothing to scoff at and if you're worried about not making enough juice get the kit with both the UD and OD pulley.

my truck has 4.56 gears from 3.73. I figured the underdrive pulley would put less stress on the accessories at highway speed. Plus it should help gas mileage.

The reason the pulley is so expensive is the pulley is built into the harmonic balancer. So your buying a harmonic balancer and pulley.
