Default Whipple question

Will a Whipple sc non intercooled that's on a 5.3 fit a 6.0?


Aslo how can you tell if it's in decent shape?

Which one is it 99 to 06 should work in 4.8-5.3-6.0.

Only thing I know of to be different is the 6.0 comes with a larger idler pulley that's to the left of the alternator than the 4.8/5.3's have, but everything should bolt up the same.

And if you are running hydroboost it will be setup slightly different as far as vaccum lines etc

No hydroboost. Truck its going in is 01ECSB z71. Had the 5.3 4l60e, but now has the 6.0.

Thanks for the info guys. will keep you updated if I purchase this SC

You could prolly call whipple and see if you could send it in to get it checked out?

but yea it will fit.
