Default Where to get PCM wire clips

Well, I'm finally gonna have to get around to running the wire from the alternator to the PCM to turn off the flashing battery light from installing the 02 PCM in my 99. (Have to go to inspection next month and I'm pretty sure that a flashing batt light will be frowned apon) Does anybody know where I can get one of the wire terminal ends that goes in the connector to the PCM, and/or the part# if possible?

I already have the 2 pin connector for the alternator, just need one of the wire terminal ends on the PCM side.

Thanks!

You can get it at the dealership, they can look it up for you. There is one for 18AWG and one for 22AWG. Sorry I don't have the part number - seemed to have lost that receipt.

That's good to know Mac, hopefully the Jersey inspectors will be as leniant if I don't get this done in time. I tried a local dealership and the parts guy didn't know which one it was, but directed me to a bin with a million different wire clips and said "be my guest". I was like "D'oh!"...

If anyone has an extra or two that they'd like to drop in an envelope and sell to me for a few bucks, just let me know how much you want.

Thanks again!

They are pretty easy to distinguish, its just a thin pin that slides into the empty PCM slot. Maybe Blown could snap a pic for you.

As far as cali being more leniant, I would think cali is one of the hardest to pass.

I have the same problem in my truck. What has to be all done to get that light to stop flashing? The fuel guage also does not work. I don't know if you have that problem or not. I put a 6.0L in my 99 truck with the 6.0L computer. And now the fuel guage is always on empty. Does anyone know what needs to be done? Don't mean to steal your post I just have the same problem and want to get rid of it.

If you are talking about the stock sized PCM terminals we sell em in a pack at AutoZone for a buck or two. They are for pretty small guaged wire though.

Would you be able to find a part#? I really want to know where I can get one of these PCM pins. Also, if anyone could find a GM part # it would be awesome.
