Default whats the best driveshaft to go with

ive seen so many kinds now, from kevlar, to carbonfiber, stainless steal, all kinds, whats the best bang for the buck and which of the sponsors carry it for our trucks, whats so nice about carbonfiber driveshaft other then the lightness, and etc???

specs are in sig, and links will help...my biggest fear is mine comin apart on me, let alone tearin up my truck, id like something to handle well over 140mph +

also could i change the front shaft from the tcase to the front diff??? or is that thing solid enough???

The best one to me would be one that is strait and balanced, a .083 or a .090 wall steel shaft is your best for drag racing and its also the cheapest, But if your into Bling a carbon fiber or polished aluminum is best for you no matter how much it cost .

I know for myself and I'm sure for Faze too, its not the bling factor that we're lookin for. I just wanna know whats the strongest. Most dyno shops will only do 3rd gear pulls on the stock driveshaft and I have been hearing more and more of driveshafts blowing out. Just trying to find out what others have used. I personally have the aluminum 1 piece shaft like the SS silvy's have, but what is the best upgrade and anyone know good vendors for the trucks.

2Tone,

Was your builder local? I don't necessarily need a new one just yet, but its always nice to have some contacts.

Mark Williams has always made awesome products! You can look them up on the net. I wish they had a 2-piece for my '02 ECSB. In my case I'll have to check out someone else.
