On my '02 Z71 with a Borla:
1st = 3,000 miles (serviced)
2nd = 6,500 miles (serviced)
3rd = 10,000 miles (serviced - 2 pages long of replacement parts)
you see a pattern here? Yea, I got rid of that POS.

On the black truck .. it lasted about the day I had the blower put in. It was stock, no shift kit or anything. The built one after that lasted just under 3000 miles until it shifted it self to pieces. The next one started slipping within 1000 miles and quit long enough for me to get rid of it after I pulled the blower and all else off.
The new one is still going strong. Just got the TT3000 on there tonite!

Mine was fine until about 18,000 miles. It was at that point when I figured out how to keep the boost up at the 2-3 shift (the whipple computer was dumping it down to about 1 or 2 lbs at the shift) About a week later it started slipping at the 2-3 so I put in a level 10 shift kit and it was OK again. Then at about 21,000 I put in the 6 liter and the newfound power made it start slipping again. I babied it around until about 24,000 and then rebuilt it using the "raptor kit" from transmission center.net. It has about 33,000 on it now and still doing fine.

Did you get the 5 gear planeteries?
Still contemplating on what to do. If I was in the lower 48, I would just order one, but I am in Alaska. From the guys I have talked to here, there are not much for performance 4L60E builders.
Kinda frustrating trying to get large stuff here sometimes.
