Default What does everyone think the 4.8 can really produce????

Just like the title reads. The truck will be going under the knife shortly for some winter mods and I was wondering just what everyone though it would make for power. Also what does everyone think the fastest that it will run at the track this year???
FWIW: The basic mods on the truck are/will be:
Built 4.8
STS 67mm turbo
FMIC
LS-1 Ported Heads
Small Cam
Carb intake
Built 4l60e
18-20# boost on pump gas

Sorry man but I dont see it really doing a whole lot on just 293 cubes. mjhoward put down 450 to the wheels with his radix and 13psi of boost and all the other bolt on stuff. I realize that the turbo is more efficient but not 100hp moer efficient that you would need to get in the 10s that you would need. Maybe a larger cam, more boost, drop some weight and go from there I think with that you could get into the 10s with the little motor. I hop eyou can cause everyone thinks they aint worth a crap and it would be awsemoe to see that little motor turn a 10.

well it has already made 530rwhp running out of fuel and at 17lbs of boost. mjhoward only made 27 more rwhp than I did with my radix stock 4.8 engine and mine was through a auto, his was through a 5-speed

If a 5.7 can do over 800rwhp with a stock cam I don't see why a 4.8 can't do over 600rwhp.

Only had one run at 17#'s. I went 11.8 @118.9 with a 1.9x short. I had a burn valve due to number 7 going lean. I think that if I could have got it too launch and hook them it would have gone 11.6X's at about the same mph that I had.
