Default What To Do Next?

I need help deciding what my next performance upgrade will be
2017 Silverado 1500 2 wheel drive 6.2
the upgrades already completed
Whipple supercharger
Kooks headers
Cat delete wye pipe
Custom tune for the above
Mickey-Thompson drag radials 275/40R20 ET Street SS

my local tuner suggested
new cam
valve springs
smaller Whipple pulley
Meth injection
another custom tune
($11,000 to $12,000) ouch!

anyone out there already upgraded beyond what I have already done?
What do suggestions
keep in mind this is my “daily driver”
Go out to eat with the wife and drag race on weekends

$11k for cam, springs, pulley, meth and a tune?? Or did that include a forged engine too?

I was thinking the same thing when I read this lol.

OP, have the DOD lifters been pulled out and replaced? If not, that would be a good place to start when you do a cam. Or you could do gears and a LSD.

That’s a bit steep. If you supplied all your parts I could see maybe $2k max in labor.

11-12k, he better let me bang his wife.

LOL I agree with madmann26!
Yeah I'm thinking that's way to much. While doing cam and those mods though do Lt4 fuel system and low pressure fueling like an inline to accessorize while under high boost. Have the heads ported while off. Maybe switch to a bigger exhaust after ory. I'm about convinced I'm going 4". Possibly a bigger tb. That's pretty much it except for traction which will be nonexistent except on slicks at the track.

I am waiting for a complete list from the tuner.

I payed just a little more than that for a supercharger, headers, cat delete and dyno time to tune it.

If he's going to charge you that, I recommend finding a new tuner. That's ridiculous. Maybe $3k in parts that you listed. Sounds like he's charging you the price of a whole new supercharger just to swap to a smaller pulley

When I get the complete list
I will post it
I want to make sure I give an accurate list of what I am getting for that amount of money
that is all I remember from the phone conversation

I am satisfied with the work they have done so far
It just seems the price for the new work for just another 100 horses was high

that is why I am looking for other ideas

I am RC so 5.3 of course. I would love to upgrade but since it is my DD that is rarely over 2200-2700 rpm anyway it makes no sense to go crazy. I have thought it through and there are some things that are just not worthwhile to me. I really think I'm going to do ~ 5k in mods and just do N.O. for another occasional 100-150 hp for maybe 30 lbs a year. Trans will be lucky to take that. If you want to go really fast gotta do turbo anyway lol.

Default Water/Meth Injection

I think the next thing to do is the water/meth injection.

I am looking at the Snow 2.5 with the braided lines.

Can I get some feed back from anyone that already has this system.

I would like to hear from the people that already have an injection system. Let me know what you wish you would have done and the problems I can try to avoid.

Thanks
