Default What mod should I do next?

Now that I have my Whipple, what should I do next, torque converter or long tube headers. Which one will give the best results? Adding long tubes over shorty's should be a noticable difference, especially with the Whipple, but will it be as noticable as a torque converter? I am getting a shift kit installed tuesday, and I ordered the lid part of the UPD intake to see if it fit right with the Whipple. I do not plan on running any more boost because my truck allready has 66,000 miles on it and I do not want any big problems. Please give some suggestions.
Thanks, Kent

Torque Converter would probably be the most noticable mod. I had the chance to go either way to and if I hadn't have gotten such a good deal on the headers, I would have done a T/Q. A 3200 will lose some towing capacities. I don't think your worried about towing though

Being that you have a 99 you probably have not experienced any negative side effects to adding power from TQM. I'm not too sure if you will have any issues but I will forewarn you that in my 01' the shift kit killed my ET...lost on average between 4-6 tenths due to TQM. I love the kit but need to reduce the TQM perameters. The truck will bark the tires on the up shift every time...if you choose the 3 washer transgo.

torque converter would definatly be nice, or a cam. we all know the cams in the 99s really sucked. in a 99 you will get a gain of 60-70rwhp at 6000rpm (at least the case on a N/A motor) could gain even more if you got a custom cam too, though maybe not as drastic of a gain on the top end.

i say shift kit, converter, and cam

I would also have to say go with a converter. Since you already have the shorties and the Whipple provides you with plenty of low end torque, i dont think you would notice as much of a diff with the long tubes. I would think about the cam as well.
