i was wondering what are somethings you should do to the motor/truck before you install a nos kit? also what is a good nos kit?

 

well, first stop using ricer terms like nos...it's NITROUS. but NOS is a brand of it. i would get LS1 edit to pull timing, a set of tr6 plugs and don't run to big of a shot

 

LOL, but yeah... consider an additional pusher fuel pump, heat ranger cooler plugs with a tighter gap, etc.

I'd invest in some other supporting mods prior to get the most out of the truck as it sits. Perhaps a TransGo to help the tranny stay together, big cooler, etc.

Headers, converter, and a inline pump. Both myself and my buddy have had good luck with the NX wet kit. If you want to be safe a window switch. Remember, nitrous is as safe as you make it.
By the way, call nitrous what ever you want. I have heard it all: juice, spray, jug, hose, botton, cold, squeeze, bootle, switch, cheater, dope, Raid (as in the roach killer), etc.... However, I love hearing new ones.

 

Squeeze, spray, and dope are my favorites....

 

The bottle is good, but I prefer spray.

 

sticky tires, Ngk tr6's, and a helmet... for the track. LOL
