Default vinci or comp

is there any reason i should go with either manufacturer reguarding the quality of their parts.. i know comp has been around a long time and make some pretty good cams... how are vinci cams?

I think they are both good manufacturers! Comp is a real recognizable brand and there are some fellas with the Vinci cam here and I think Vinci is a sponsor here! Either one should be a great choice. I was thinking I would go with Vinci whenever I'm ready for a cam!

vinci uses crane cams
well there cam is a crane core but the design is
theirs
the way I understand it

mine seems to be doing well

you are correct

Crane's quality is very good.

I have the cam, rockers, springs and push rods.

Work great.

Either one you will be happy with.... I have a comp... But the hydraulic Cams dont go bad.... Im pretty sure they would be good to around 500000 miles.......

Just choose one step bigger than you want...... once the cam is in you will wish you went bigger....

I like Comps lobes better. More aggressive. Cranes lobe design is in between the XE-R and XE. Both make good cams but id stick with Comp

anybody been reading the chevy high performance issues where they've been modding a 5.3 at vinci? here's the first article. haven't scanned the other two issues where they did intake and exhaust (pt 2) and cam ( pt 3)

my vinci "trucker" cam is kick ***...and it will kick even more *** when my Radix gets here (ups says it will be tomorrow)...
Sweet set up...go Vinci!
