That was about a year and a half ago. The truck is now stock and used as a daily driver. However it has a new setup going in within the year. Smaller motor (383) but a better combo of parts and power adder.

Yes it is. Got my own shop now. If you guys need any parts just let me know. I will get you guys the best deal i can. The truck with the F1 has got a tone of power. We just cant keep the heads down on the dam thing. We are going with a little bit lower compression heads. Should be some where around the 8-8.5:1 compression with these new heads.

Havent talked to you guys for a while. I have been busy in the shop. I am going to be on here a lot more now though that winter is comming up.

I was wondering what the deal with the blue head gaskets was. Is is some sort of coating to help the gasket stay together under the high cylinder pressures? Have yall though about oringing it?

The motor is o-ringed. With counter sunk grooves in the heads aswell. We are using copper head gaskets. The coating that you see is called Hylomar. It's just like Copper Coat, but with a lot higher temp rating. The stuff works great. We use it on all of our setups with copper gaskets.
