I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section...
I am looking at purchasing an underdrive pulley and have found that some come with the overdriven alternator pulley and some don't. So my question is do i need the overdriven alt. pulley or will i be fine without it? Thanks in advance.

It is best to run the alternator pulley to maintain the correct charging system voltage. Check out these pulleys.

i had no issues until i installed e-fans. the initial startup of the fans would make the voltage dip bad. the overdrive alt. pulley almost fixed it. it just barely dips now
i have the asp pulleys, btw
