Default Turbo Kit

After collecting a lot of parts to do a h/c change, I've come to the realization that I won't have the kind of power I'm after. So I've been throwing the idea around of throwing just a cam in and going FI . I like the idea of a supercharger since I offroad a lot, and they are more or less out of the way. However they are a little out of my price range. So I've been tossing the idea around of going turbo charged. So does anyone know of a decently priced kit I could pick up that would fit a 2007 Classic 2500HD CCRB 4x4? I'm only looking to throw 5-7 psi at it maybee. Might I add that I am a complete noob when it comes to FI. Thanks in advance.

You will want the supercharger for offroading...you can find pretty good deals on used units if you are patient

That was my original thinking. I guess I will have to keep my eyes open for a good deal, or save up a little longer and get a new one. On another note, I have a cam right now that I was going to install this weekend. Do you think that this will be FI friendly? 220/218 581"/.562" 111LSA.

No, probably not. I dont really like reverse split cams and the low lsa will not be good for FI.

Youll want something like 208/214 116

Forgive my boobness, but I thought that cam overlap was more important than the LSA when choosing a cam for FI? I believe this cam has an overlap of -3. Thanks for the input so far.

something like a 212/212 .561/.561 112 is a proven cam but for a turbo.

if your goin S/C then something like a 212/218 114ish.
needs lots of low end for what your gonna use it for.
