Tuning or Tranny?

So would a shift kit and a some tuning fix this prob?

I don't know if it would actually fix the problem. I wouldn't think that your tuning would just change all of a sudden. I would have someone look at the tranny to make sure all is well before I put the kit in or tuned it. Just my thoughts...

Well the truck has been like this since I got it at 88,000 miles.

I guess I will let it roll like this....with all the miles I got on the tranny and motor I am already thinking of motor and tranny swap.


Is the only difference between the LQ9 and LQ4 the pistons?

That is my understanding. I remember seeing a couple of threads on this very subject. You may want to check them out to make sure.
