Default Truck & LS6 intakes, differences Fuel system Q's

I am in the middle of my engine swap. 99 Sierra was a 5.3 now a 6.0. I have everything for the swap but now what about the fuel system.

I was looking at switching intakes from the ugly truck intake to an LS6 style intake. What are the benefits between the two performance wise? Is it a straight drop in and go or is there more things involved?

Also what about the throttle body should I get a new one? What mm?

I have a set of low mileage 2004 6.0 injectors. I think they are 24lbs. Will these be suitable?

Thanks for the help.

Danny

What do think about the f body set up. Did you have any clearance problems.

It seems that the f-body and vette intakes throttle body flange sit lower than the trucks? Looks like it may cause clearance problems with the water pump. Not sure though can anyone clarify or have pics?
