At every fillup I hand calculate my mileage based on the odometer. I have a perfect idea of the gas mileage my truck normally gets. So I immediately noticed something when my mileage went way down. I just attributed that to my exhaust leak and the o2's dumping fuel in. But I've had the leak for a while so it was odd that it just changed all of a sudden. But now it's really really nice to have a working gas gauge again. I just filled up and the stupid thing went to F....I'm used to the low fuel light coming on after fueling up

Don't worry, it will go back to its old ways in a year or less.

Glad you got it running.

Thanks. I'm pretty sure the stock sending unit lasted 5 or 6 years. If it goes bad in 1 year I'll be pissed!
