Do that after the shift kit ...

You are gonna be ready to pull the TQM out when the verter goes in, cause it till give you hell.

The shift kit does some things in the tranny that will help it stand up to the removal of TQM. One being raised line pressure, and some other nifty things in the valve body.

You should do the servo and shift kit at the same time for the best results. The converter can be done whenever, but should be considered when installing the shift kit.

The washers your referring to adjust the shift firmness of the 1-2 shift. If your going with billet servos and a TT3000 I would go with the small holes drilled (there are 2 options) and 1 or no washer.

For refference .. I'll prolly be installing a vette servo in mine when I get the shift kit put in. I'm going to tell them to put it in with 1 washer and the small holes in the seperator plate. That should give me a niec firm shift but not brutal.

Just a word..... when I installed mine I put in both billet servoes and 1 washer and edited out alot of TM. Shifting was way to hard (brutal is a good choice) I almost think it could of self-destructed the tranny. Pulled out washer and shifting was fine.

Thanks for the heads up. That's anopther reason I think I'm gonna go with the vette servo instead of the billet ones.

Did you get the large holes or the small holes drilled in the seperator plate?

I installed my shift kit and went with two washers and corvette servo. I personally like the hard shift, if you are normal driving it hits but over 60 % throttle 2nd will scratch.
When installing the kit if your truck has over 70,000.00 miles more than likely you are going to need a new plate. My plate had a check ball stuck to it. I called Trans Go and they said normally all 4l60e's that have over 70k have that problem. The stuck check ball is the one that controls your 2 to 1 down shift.
