4L80E transmission is not a straight bolt-in.You need a transmission,a new converter,a crank spacer,a new flywheel,a modified crossmember,a harness adapter and programming from Speartech. It's doable but not cheap.

4L60E was stock. There are a lot of parts and builders out there that can make it work for you within reason.

FrankSS - Your sig says you have an entire LS1 drivetrain for sale. Is that a M6 or A4? If you have an A4, you could have a shop swap the good trans internals to the 4wd cast and output shaft of your truck. The transmissions are the same other than the shaft and tail housing.
