Nice! Let's be honest here though, you have more compression and better heads. So I'd expect you to make 10-20 more hp. TSP's dyno testing showed that the 228 made 6 rwhp more than the 224 with little to no sacrifice in driveability.
I'm going to use the SDPC springs and TSP pushrods, LS2 timing chain, and will reuse my stock oil pump.

sorry to threadack, but i hate starting cam threads.
What exactly is advancing? what advantages /disadvantages is caused by this, and more importantly how do you do it when you install a cam.
I also just bought a tr224, should be going in by the end of february with some cut outs, and a good tune.
